Press Release Writing Tips and Best Practices:

Headline – This should be concise (100 to 150 characters), compelling,
and written in the present or future tense. (If it's past, it's not news.)
Do not list URLs in headlines.

Subhead (optional) – Your subhead should support the main headline
or provide additional relevant information. You may use a URL here.

Body Copy – It's important to ensure your release is well structured.
Your body copy should begin with the dateline, then summarize all the
main facts in the intro paragraph, including your organisation's name
and the product/service/event you're announcing. The key is to grab
journalists' and readers' attention in the first paragraph.

Remember to write your press release in the third-person point of view.

Boilerplate – The last paragraph of your press release should provide
a brief overview of your organization. You may include such details as
your company's history, industry, practices, and unique value propositions.

PR Contact Info – Your must include direct contact information in your
press release so that journalists and editors who wish to follow up on
your story can quickly get in touch with a company representative who
is authorized to speak to the media on behalf of your organization.
